Behold the magnificence!

What's not to love about England? One can never run short of things to do at any given place or time, be it the quaint countrysides, reminiscent of English literature's valleys and moors; the cities or the quirks that every traveller comes to love. I managed to come across the delightful Bourton-on-the-Water on one such trip. Bourton-on-the-Water is a village and civil parish in Gloucestershire, within the Cotswolds Area. You can sit pretty at any of the picturesque cafés, feed  swans or simply be. And me being me, I could not resist a trip to the Warwick Castle, Warwickshire from thereafter. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. One of England's oldest castles, nothing could be more perfect than sitting in its Great Hall and watching people go by. And the fun part is: Unlike other castles, you can touch the artifacts inside to get close to your bit of history :)
