Our trip started early in the morning departure from Delhi. On the way to Nainital there is a place Gajraul on NH-24, where we had breakfast. the road to Nainital is not that up to the expectation, Highway gives way to smaller roads once you cross Rampur. This part is through various villages and few patches of bad roads and once you leave Kathgodam, the hill area starts. the road here is good but once you reach Nainital, you are bound to forget all the pros and cons of the journey. The view of Naini Lake mesmerizes and the cool weather is a boon. There is a cave area and is a must visit. Few lessons learnt during the Journey - the roads in UP is very bad and without any directions, and secondly one must take some time and visit these areas for better experience and give more time to journey period.
