The photo has been taken in Naranag 60km away from Srinagar it'sprime paradise. The farms wear a virgin green and gracious gold goat. The mystery of Naranag is that you don’t see it until you reach. It nestled in the mountains surrounded by dense forest . Photo shows the horse grazing under the lap of great lakes mountains Harmukh behind is the ruins of the 8th-century temple from which Naranag derives its name. The temple is dedicated to Shiva and has a rock-cut shiva linga in the temple compound. Sadly, it is neglected and more of a ruin than a temple.Sometimes when we are not searching for anything particular, we find something incredible that leaves a mark on our lives. That's NATURE
Day 1: Delhi to Mashobra
We started our trip from New Delhi and reached Mashobra for our first day's stay. It is near Shimla. Shimla looks crowded, so I decided to stay at Mashobra.
Day 2: Mashobra to Sangla Valley
Today we started our journey towards Sangla valley. Our stay was at Sangla village.
Day 3: Sangla - Chitkul - Kalpa
Early morning we headed towards Sangla valley and spends time at the bank of river and then a small trekking to play in snow. In the evening we reached Kalpa and spent the night at Kalpa.
Day 4: Kalpa to Kaza
After visiting some local places in the morning we continued our journey towards Kaza. We reached Kaza in the night and it started raining. Mostly hotels were closed as the season was not opened yet. Finally we managed to find a home stay.
Day 5: Kaza - Kibber - Kaza
Next day we found that whole Spiti covered with the snow. We decided to go up to kibber village and key monastery today.
Day 6: Kaza to New Delhi (21 hours)
Yes, seriously we did it in one run. It took us 21 hours directly from Kaza to Delhi. It was a Renault duster car. And we were 3 persons. Me, my wife and a 4 years old kid. My wife can drive but she had no experience to drive in mountains, so she didn't drive. Leave kaza at 6:00 AM and reached Delhi at 3:00 AM. So technically it was the next day.
