Got some free weekdays? #rishikesh #riverrafting #Weekendworthy

So you are in Dehradun, and you got a free weekend now you are confused about how to spend your weekend???
So let me help you.
If you are in Dehradun and got a free weekend, you should take a trip to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is just 1-2 hour away from Dehradun, and you would regret if you miss your chance to visit the world capital of yoga, Rishikesh.
There are a lot of places which you can visit in Rishikesh and a lot of things which you can do from adventures to trying different foods. The cafés of Rishikesh are very famous for its delicacies.
People from different parts of the world come to Rishikesh to know their true selves and dwelling into spirituality.
So we left for Rishikesh at around 3pm. in the evening and reached Rishikesh at 4:30pm. We had planned to do river rafting for the next day, so we had already booked our camp and rafting a day before reaching Rishikesh.
The camp was some distance away from the main road so we had to walk and we were so tired after reaching our campsite. But all our tiredness went away as soon as we realized that we had a pool in our camp.😅
So after keeping our bags in our designated camps, we got in the pool as there was not so much crowd that day, so we were the only people inside the lake, and we enjoyed a lot. After that, we had our dinner and played some games and then slept late after partying.

Our rafting was scheduled in the morning, but as well all slept late, we couldn't wake up early in the morning, so our rafting was rescheduled in the afternoon. So after having our breakfast, we went ahead with our plan of river rafting. And believe me, you would enjoy the adventure. Our river rafting was of 16 km and started from Shivpuri; you can also book it for 26km or 35km as per your convenience. Proper equipment and instructions were provided to us. And we had an instructor with us who guided us along the way. We halted in between our rafting and did cliff jumping too. We were exhausted but happy that we did it.
After rafting, we went back to the camp and changed our clothes, picked up our bags, and left the camp.
We visited Lakshman jhula, Ram jhula, and spend some time watching the Ganga Arti, which was a mesmerizing experience.
We booked a hotel and slept after having dinner. It was a long tiring day.

The next day we decided to visit the famous Beatles ashram. We took an auto from our hotel to the Beatles ashram. The place has a timing of 10 am to 4 pm and has an entry ticket. The ashram is famous as the Beatles band stayed here in the 60s and now features art and graffiti.
This ashram is worth visiting. You would get to see the old architecture and graffiti, and altogether it would be a wonderful experience.

Top things to do in Dubai!!
Dubai is love it is the most amazing city to be exploring. The safest city for a solo trip. There are so many things to do there and hog on.
Can you imagine jumping off an airplane on your solo trip? Yes, I did that. And it was crazy. I am so proud that I was able to jump off that plane (tough I was scared to death).
Dubai has a different kind of vibe and you feel positive no matter what. You will find all kinds of nationalities there, but majorly there are nationals from India, Pakistan and Philippines who work and live there other than the locals. The best place to live is ‘Bur Dubai’ which is like a center of Dubai with nearby marketplaces for local shopping & food and with quick access to metros. Metros are the best mode of transport if you want to save some dirhams.
Quick must have experiences in Dubai :
• Skydive at Skydive Dubai – Palm Beach Jumeirah (for amazing view)
• Zaffran Tea at any of the FIlli outlets
• Chicken Fatayyar at Al Amour at Al Karama
• Vegetarians can try some amazing Falafels there
• Cheesecake Factory visit at Dubai mall
• Dubai Mall – Fountain Show
• At the top – Burj Khalifa
• City Walk Dubai
• Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai – beautiful Gurudwara, you wouldn’t want to miss
Things to shop :
• Perfumes
• Dry Fruits
• Chocolates
• Cloths & Shoes
• And everything else 😉

Taj of the Deccan - Bibi Ka Maqbara

Surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Aurangabad can be a history buff's dream destination! Besides the magnificent Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Aurangabad has numerous historical sites within a few minutes drive from the city centre. Daulatabad Fort, Aurangabad Caves and Bibi Ka Maqbara are some of the sites that I absolutely enjoyed on my trip to Aurangabad.

Bibi ka Maqbara or the Taj Mahal of the Deccan was one monument in particular that piqued my interest. To begin with, it bears a striking resemblance to the ever marvellous Taj Mahal in Agra, however it is at least 10 times smaller. It was commissioned in 1660 by Emperor Aurangzeb, the son of Emperor Shah Jahan who originally got Taj Mahal Built. Aurangzeb commissioned Bibi ka Maqbara to commemorate his love for his first and chief wife Dilras Banu Begum. It is also said that this monument is the symbol of his conjugal fidelity to his first wife.
Although guided tours of Bibi ka Maqbara are available, we chose to read ahead of our visit and everything else was very kindly filled in by our wonderful taxi driver. Emperor Aurangzeb was not very interested in architecture itself but it was quite amusing to discover that the principal architect, Ata-ullah was the son of Ustad Ahmad Lahauri, the principal designer of the Taj Mahal.
Talking about the architecture of Bibi ka Maqbara, it is laid out in a charbagh formal garden, an Indo Persian style of construction based on the four gardens of paradise mentioned in the Quran. The marble for the construction of this mausoleum was brought all the way form mines near Jaipur, however Aurangzeb had laid out a very strict budget for its completion - only Rs. 700,000 annas.
How to Get there:
Situated in Maharashtra, Aurangabad is approximately 330 kilometres away from Mumbai. There are flight and trains to Aurangabad from major ports including Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. We took an overnight bus from Mumbai booked through Redbus.in. It takes around 7 hours to get there from Mumbai.
Bibi ka Maqbara is located in Begumpur, which is 3Km away from the city centre and most hotels. You can easily find Ubers or local taxis to take you there.
When to visit:
Summers in most parts of Maharashtra can get extremely hot and humid. It is best to visit during the winter months from November to February.
This spot is rarely crowded but to avoid Aurangabad heat and get the perfect shots, visit around 7-8 AM.
Cost:
Bibi Ka Maqbara ticket costs Rs 25 for Indian citizens and Rs 300 for foreign tourists. The SAARC and BIMSTEC visitors have to pay Rs 25 as well. You can either purchase Bibi Ka Maqbara ticket at the ticket counter or pre-book it online. It takes around an hour to explore the site.
Bibi ka Maqbara is an impressive monument with its own charm, however it is usually overshadowed by the comparison to the Taj Mahal.

Trekk to Dudhsagar waterfall.. excitemnt and calmness altogether #TheBlues

What makes a trek worth doing it ?
Is it the destination , atmosphere,your companion,the adventures , greenery/scenery...?
Well..evrything combine together and makes it adventurous, exciting nd keep it in the bucket list of yours
I have had a similar trip ..a trekk to Dudhsagar waterfall...a place of excitemnt and calmness altogether.
Surrounded by lush green forest, cool breeze beautiful birds, rocks and the mountains, this waterfall is situated in Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife sanctuary which is situated at Kulem at Goa Karnataka border.
I was there at september obviously because it's the best season to visit any waterfall in India .Its one day trek. During monsoon one can reach this waterfall only through trekking ... Though there are two ways of Trek, you can choose either. Both of the ways start by reaching Kulem from Goa which is 60-70km from North Goa The first one is 11kms.trek from Kulem.. going through rail track and reach the waterfall through many tunnels (slightly risky and also is illegal). Also you can not enjoy the diving in there cuz You are going to be on the tracks only in the middle of the waterfall.
The second one is what I had chosen as its more thrilling ,adventurous and legal. For this one, its compulsory to hire a guide.Guide will provide you life jackets for diving. You can easily hire one when you reach Kulem, charges can vary from 500-800/person depending upon the group solo or pair. This is also 11kms.from Kulem... But this one includes going through the sanctuary, crossing some river streams, seeing beautiful birds also includes first 4kms of railtrack then you enter tge sanctuary after 2 kms. This sanctuary is very beautiful with green grass, large old trees, cashewnut trees, river streams which can be very dangerous in monsoons and than after 3 more kms of up and downhill trekk you can see your destination and even hear the loud noise of water crashing into the big rocks.. after seeing dudhsagar was beyond my words now I was now more excited to reach down the hill to jump and dive into the water. That 1 km of trekk was quickly over as a blink of an eye. I was thrilled, excited and calm at the same time.I was feeling energetically peacefull..my mind turned blank....
For the next few hours I enjoyed being in the water..I can see the trains passing from th middle of the waterfall above me ...passengers were waving at trekkers ...it was turning dark so I returned to place where I started...and then back to Goa. It was a beautiful day with lots of memories #theblues.

Yadvindra Garden Pinjore

Hello people Welcome back.. Today we travel the Yadvindra Garden Which is located in Pinjore (Hariyana)..
.
